Plan
From a rough sketch, a telephone conversation or a reference to our website gallery, your plan can be created.
Design
Once we have an idea of your preferences, we use our CAD programme to produce a working track plan which we submit for your approval. It is possible at this stage to make as many changes as you wish.
Clients can purchase this track plan if they wish to ‘do it yourselves’. There is no charge for this service if you order a layout we design.
Build
Having received your deposit, your bespoke layout is built on our high quality baseboards. Making changes at this stage can be expensive so we do not recommend it.

Exceptional Craftsmanship
The layout does everything I asked for and more. For the past 3 years I have been adding all the usual things, scenery, buildings etc to make a Model Railway that is my personal representation of my Sixties Spotting Days around Sheffield Darnall (41A) and Doncaster Station.

More Happy Customers…
For a first timer requiring a layout with plenty of track and the facility for a really pleasant time operating the layout this is the one. One example is where my wife operates a train on one track and I operate the goods yard with our grandchild operating the points and the turntable from the built in panel.
Also as the layout is on one level there is no need to construct hills, bridges, tunnels etc; just use Metcalfe card kits and place them where you want.
A few years ago on retirement I was able to purchase a Modula Layout and have been really pleased with the quality At the time due to space restrictions I was only able to purchase an amended version of the Station Approach layout in “n” gauge but later due to a change I was able to add Goods Central which now gives me an excellent layout of 8×2.5 ft Have continually added to the layout with lots building and vegetation and although not quite finished am really pleased with the result.
