Working from some of my hazy childhood trainspotting memories, Stephen came up with several ideas for my layout. Once the final version was agreed, he went on to build me a superb layout with all the features on my “wishlist”. High quality workmanship, materials and equipment throughout. Customer service was, and still is, very much appreciated. I would not hesitate in recommending anyone looking to have a layout built to make Modula Layouts their first call.
I approached Stephen with a very vague basic idea of the layout that I wanted which was in essence a twin track main line with a steam shed area, turntable and sidings. The proposed size was approx. 4.5 metres x 3.5 metres.
I was more than pleased with the initial design, which then gave me further ideas along with some suggestions from Stephen. Version 2 now had all I had initially requested plus the main line was now 4 track at a through station. There was a shuttle line into a bay platform and more sidings. I gave the go ahead to proceed.
